The dynamics in the area of mobile end devices and applications have increased significantly in recent years and the topic of “Enterprise Mobility + Security” has moved centre stage. On the one hand, the connection of mobile end devices to corporate IT brings numerous efficiency and productivity benefits, while on the other hand it presents companies with completely new challenges in the area of cyber security. With the increasing diversity of platforms and devices, the effects of consumerisation and the numerous new security risks they face, one thing is clear: innovation and security must follow in step.

IT is called upon here to sensitise the specialist departments more strongly and to attach importance to solutions that can fundamentally secure mobile data without restricting employee productivity. In addition, another key factor must not be ignored: people. Bringing employees along as “happy end users” in this change process will be at least as challenging as the technological implementation of the digital transformation.
